Frequently Asked Questions
What is CBD?
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one of over 113 cannabinoids found in the cannabis sativa plant, specifically in the Hemp species. CBD is a non-intoxicating component of hemp that possesses a wide range of beneficial properties. It does not cause a high, unlike THC. CBD is heavy in cannabinoids, terpenes and other phytochemicals that nutritional value and promotes health and wellness for your body.
How does CBD Work?
Our bodies are equipped with the endocannabinoid system, a network of receptors that is spread throughout our entire body. Most of these receptors are in our immune system, central nervous system and the brain, although you can also find them in most every organ in your body including the skin and digestive tract. Every single person has an endocannabinoid system (ECS), whether they’ve consumed hemp products before in their lives or not. Endocannabinoids interact with various receptors and communicates with the body’s central nervous system.
What’s the Difference Between Hemp and Marijuana?
Although the two plants look very similar and are from the same species (Cannabis Sativa), their chemical makeup has some important difference. The Hemp plant has larger amounts of CBD and less than 0.3% THC, which makes it non-psychoactive. Marijuana is grown with less CBD and greater amounts of THC, which makes it psychoactive…or gets people high. Our CBD follows all federal guidelines to be legally sold in the US market.
Is Hemp Seed Oil the Same as CBD Hemp Oil?
Hemp seed oil can be found in online stores, grocery stores, nutrition stores…because it contains ZERO CBD or any other cannabinoids or terpenes. In order to add support to your Endocannabinoid System it is important to find the correct balance with part of Hemp that is rich in CBD and not just cold-pressing the seeds that lack any CBD. All our products are sourced with the highest quality CBD made in pharmaceutical grade processing facilities that ensure the purest product.
What are the main differences between Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Isolate?
The simple, and probably most important answer is this:
Full Spectrum contains CBD + Omega Oils + Terpenes + less than 0.3% THC
Broad Spectrum contains CBD + Omega Oils + Terpenes…no THC
Isolate contains CBD + Omega Oils…no terpenes and no THC
WILL I FAIL A DRUG TEST IF I TAKE CBD PRODUCTS?
Many people work in an industry where drug-testing is done on a regular basis. If this is so, then we advise you not to use our Full Spectrum products as they do contain up to 0.3% THC. Because of this concern, we also have a Broad Spectrum line of products that does not contain THC, but still has everything else that CBD has to offer. All of our topicals are made from Isolate or Broad Spectrum, both of which contain zero THC.
